Screens in the RDS main hall for a wedding exhibition — a hall of white flowers needing something that moves.
What the job involved, and what it had to work around.
The project
A wedding show is hundreds of stands selling largely visual products to a visitor who will see all of them in one afternoon. Everything is beautifully styled and, after an hour, indistinguishable.
Motion is the differentiator. DSD supplied the screens for the main hall — venue films, real weddings, supplier showreels — so the stands using them stop being another table of flowers.
In a hall that size the screens also do a navigational job, giving visitors a fixed point to orient by.
