Indoor Venue

A stage built from separate LED panels rather than one wall — the layout that lets a venue change its identity between acts.

What the job involved, and what it had to work around.

The project

What the job was

A single LED wall gives a venue one look. Break the same area into separate panels and it gets many: content can span all of them, run independently, or leave gaps that the lighting rig fills.

DSD built the stage as a set of vertical LED panels with a lighting rig designed around them rather than in front of them. Each act on the bill can have its own configuration without anything physically moving.

For a venue running several nights a week under different brandings, that flexibility is the whole point.
