An electronic event has a different geometry to a band show. There is no drum riser and no front line — the focus is a booth, and everything behind and above it is doing the work the performers would otherwise do. The screen is not decoration; it is the act’s stage presence.
DSD supplied the covered stage, the LED wall behind the booth, screen faces on the booth itself, and a lighting rig positioned to read against the LED rather than fight it. The crowd barrier and floor were built into the same layout so the front of house sat where it needed to be.
The rig ran from a daylight set through the night, which for LED means two entirely different brightness regimes on the same wall.
