Small Conference Staging

A stage, a screen and a sound system for a room of eighty — the size of event most companies actually run.

The project

What the job was

Most corporate events are not conferences. They are eighty people in a function room for a morning, and they usually get a projector on a trolley and a borrowed microphone.

DSD does the small version properly: a low staged platform so the back row can see, a screen bright enough that the lights can stay on, and a sound system that carries a speaker who is not used to speaking.

It is a modest kit list that changes how the room behaves. People sit forward instead of checking their phones.
