Most towns do not have a festival field. What they have is a car park: flat, hard, drains well, already served by power and already somewhere people know how to get to.
DSD builds the event onto it — stage, screens carrying the programme and children’s content, PA, and a layout that keeps buggies, wheelchairs and a bouncy castle in sensible relationships to each other.
The screens do something specific at a family day: they run the day’s timetable, so nobody has to find a printed programme to know when the next thing starts.
