SEEK Festival

Production support for the Setanta mural on Church Street during SEEK Festival — access equipment and site build for a large-scale public artwork.

At a glance

What the job involved, and what it had to work around.

The project

What the job was

A gable-end mural is a construction job with an artist on it. It needs safe working at height, a site that stays open around it, and a schedule that survives a Dundalk week of weather.

DSD provided the access equipment and site production for the Setanta mural on Church Street, working alongside the artists through the paint. The street stayed usable and the work went up on the festival’s timetable.

Local subject, local street, local festival — the kind of work that does not fit neatly into a services list but is exactly what an event production company is for.
