Previous Work

Medtronic

Screens on a medical device stand, presenting the Aurora EV-ICD system to clinicians who have about ninety seconds between sessions.

At a glance

What the job involved, and what it had to work around.

The project

What the job was

A clinical conference audience is expert, sceptical and short of time. The stand has to communicate a device’s mechanism and its clinical differentiators inside the gap between sessions, to someone who will not read a panel of body copy.

DSD supplied the stand displays running the device animation and the feature set in a loop timed to that window. Motion carries a mechanism that static graphics cannot, and the loop restarts often enough that arriving mid-way is not a problem.

Content was prepared to the manufacturer’s supplied clinical assets rather than re-illustrated — regulated material stays as approved.
