A pub running its own outdoor music programme is competing with venues that have a permanent stage, a permanent PA and a permanent screen. It has none of those and it has to trade normally either side of the event.
DSD brings the venue in and takes it away again: a covered stage sized to the yard, an LED screen carrying artist and event branding, a PA specified for an outdoor space with neighbours, and lighting that works from an eight o’clock daylight set through to close.
The screen does more than look good. Between acts it is the bar’s own advertising space — the next session, the next fixture, the drinks the bar actually wants to sell.
